Training
Golf lessons for beginners and experienced players
We have created a training system suitable for both beginners and advanced golfers, as well as for serious preparation for tournaments and international courses. Training takes place on the golf club's spacious practice facilities under the guidance of experienced coaches.
We offer a 4-hectare golf course for learning:
-
Driving Range
A 300-meter-long course for practicing long shots. At the driving range, shots are taken from special platforms or from a natural grass surface toward a large open space. While practicing the swing, you can observe the distance, direction, and trajectory of the ball.
To visually determine the distance of shots, marks are placed on the course (50, 100, 150, 200 meters), and flags are used to practice accuracy. Players can warm up at the driving range before hitting the course, and beginners can take their first shots. Up to 45 golfers can practice at a time.
-
Short Game Zones
Dedicated chipping and putting greens are available for practicing the most accurate shots to the hole. To hone short game skills, the GORKI Academy has created putting greens. These simulate the greens on a real course, with the shortest grass. However, despite the apparent ease of play on these greens, they typically feature complex terrain, requiring meticulous practice with a special club called a putter. Furthermore, playing on the green requires the ability to analyze the terrain and predict the direction and speed of the ball toward the hole.
Next to the putting green is the chipping green, surrounded by sand traps on all sides. Here, golfers practice some of the most challenging short game shots – chipping, pitching, and bunker shots. The short game requires a high level of precision, which is key to the game, and therefore requires constant improvement.
-
3-hole academic course for beginners
The driving range is a miniature replica of a real golf course: the distance from the tee (starting point) to the green (the hole location) is much shorter. On this course, beginners can try out different clubs, determine their range, and understand the logic of the game.
The driving range is an intermediate stage between practicing swing technique and playing on the course. Here, beginners can play without handicap cards. GORKI Golf Academy has its own three-hole driving range, simulating the par-3 holes of a championship course. Successful play on the driving range guarantees a golfer's readiness to pass the assessment and obtain a handicap.
